About Goldmark Federal Credit UnionGoldmark Federal Credit Union has been in existence for 51 years. We were started to serve the banking needs of the factory workers of the Balfour Manufacturing Company. Balfour was a jewelry manufacturer of all school and college rings amongst all other precious metal products. In 1994 Balfour Credit Union changed their name to Goldmark Federal Credit Union to welcome other precious metal company workers to join the Credit Union and have a more universal name. In January 2001 Swank Manufacturing merged with Goldmark FCU, shortly after became community chartered. This enables anyone that lives or works in the Seekonk, Rehoboth, Dighton, Norton, Mansfield, Attleboro and North Attleboro areas to utilize our banking services. We currently have 2999 members and our asset size is 27 million. Important Information about Procedures for Opening a New AccountTo help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. All new accounts are verified with E-Funds ChexSystems. |
